Sharan is a recent physiotherapy graduate from the University of Alberta. After graduating, Sharan worked with national athletes in Nepal for four months, focusing on rehab and strength and conditioning. Sharan has an interest in managing sports injuries with functional exercises and incorporating rehab into a person’s daily life. Playing high-level soccer, Sharan himself has gone through an ACL injury and reconstruction, so he understands the balance between activity and rehab, and knows the effect immobilization has on a person’s mental and social wellbeing. Sharan hopes to work with patients to foster a genuine connection to not only tackle a person’s physical symptoms but also to work with them to increase their confidence in their own movement and return them to daily life and the activities they love, pain-free.
